Zelda: A Link to the past remake?

The story for this game has 3 different spins. There was a manga created, A Drama CD and US story for Nintendo Power back in the 90's. Aonuma would love to do a remake of this game. I personally think it be great considering TP story was placed in shotgun and just shot out. Could have made TP a much better game had it a great story that tied the other Zelda games together! The first 10 hrs of Zelda TP were great but its story didn't make much sense like how ganon got free from his prison. ALTP had drama,action,romance,betrayl,good Vs Evil and so much more. I would love to see this game remade and I think Aonuma could do it. My only concern is that he stick to the story and not jump around like he and his team did with TP! That way the story would work because it ties OOT together. Anyway I think it would be awesome. What do you guys think? Zelda: A Link to the past remake?

I somewhat agree with that, it was somewhat similiar if you think about it. But OoT beat out ALTP. Example, the whole Young link, items, dungueons.

:shock: I was the first one to say no, I would actually like to see a link to the past remade but I'd rather get a new zelda game than a remake

I wouldnt want ANOTHER remake of ALTTP (unless maybe they redid it in 3d) because i had the original SNES one and i got the GBA version. They should just make a whole new game and quit with all the remakes and sequels. They should make another game like the Oracle of Ages/Seasons but in 3d coz those games were awesome, they stepped out of hyrule and the same old ''Save Zelda from Ganon'' (except when u link up both games, but thats for another time). I can say i enjoyed playing those 2 more than ALTTP because there was so much more to do with the passwords and switiching between the games to get more weapons and stuff, altho it would get annoying turning it off and on all the time, but the new zelda doesnt have to be like that, they justneed toget them somewhere new.
After reading your list it makes me want to play it :P If they kept like some of the main music in it too, that would be sweet. Like the Hyrule Castle(inside), thats my favorite song in the game :D I wouldnt mind playin this game in 3D awesomeness hah.

The imprisioning war where Links father dies! Ganondroff turning into Ganon for good. Triforce being lost. What about the Romance of Link and Zelda in ALTP the past. Fans have always wanted to see them together myself inculded! It has so much possiblity. Nintendo needs to make Zelda make sense they can tie up all the loose ends after OOT and Windwaker. :D
As long as they don't take away from the main developing team and release them within a year or two of each other, then I will be happy. A 3d LttP might as well be a new game.

If they did all that, Zelda wouldnt be anything.
In ALTP in the opening of Snes game they very briefly talk about the imprisoning war,Ganondroff defeated,Triforce lost,birth of Ganon,last stand of the Knights of Hyrule and the sealing of Ganon in the Golden land. In the game it had so much potential and it was epic. Also Nintendo promised to do a game about the great war! I am still waiting Nintendo! Tie up the loose ends and make Zelda even better then so many yrs ago.
That wouldnt happen for a very long time. And where did you read Nintendo promising a game about the war? And besides, that wouldnt be a Zelda game, since it'd be considered a prequel and it doesnt include Link or Zelda.
In a magazine I have from 1992 interview with past Zelda director I don't remember his name. Not Miyamoto. Wish they made it an anime. Have you read the manga for ALTP or the American version? Epic!
No I havent, which is probably why I have no idea what your talking about with this huge story. Because in the game, it wasnt that big.

I don't remember all that. Perhaps having cut scenes would help explain the story better if there is a remake.

The story writer for ALTP turned it into a 3 book manga in Japan, The American version was in Nintendo Power back in the early 90's every other month. The Snes game did have the Wizard kill the King and send the sages daughter to the dark world. Link has a vision from Zelda. Links uncle is killed. Link rescues Zelda. Link is a wanted man for kidnapping Zelda. Link seeks out old wise man. Link gets sent on quest for pendents of courage. Link gets master sword. Zelda captured priest killed. Link goes to hyrule castle defeats the wizard. Zelda is sent to darkworld. Link is sent to Darkworld. Link turns into bunny. Link learns of Ganon. Link quests to save Zelda and Seven sages daughters...........to much to tell...that is all in the Snes version. Aonuma says this is his favorite Zelda game. yadda yadda......
