wiimote is damn hard!

Yay, i just got a wii! but, it is so hard to play with the wiimote, i dont think i can finish any game on Wii. Do you find it hard too, first time you play Wii? On xbox, with normal Xbox controller i could finish about 119 games so far, but i dont even think i could finish even just 1 game on Wii. I dont know, i hope i can get used to this. Wii is the most fun to play though, i think :)wiimote is damn hard!
Well, it depens on what game you started with :P. There are games where the controls are hard to get used to and some games the controls are as easy as you want, but that happens on every system. wiimote is damn hard!
Care to specify any examples?
You get used to it over time. It was really awkward for me at first but I eventuallly got to the point to where I never wanted to pick up another standard console controller again.
Not surprised by this one bit. After playing video games the ''conventional'' way for so long, using the Wii Remote to play a video game does feel odd at first. Then again, I think that's what makes playing the Wii for the first time so exciting. I'm pretty sure that this is a feeling almost everyone has gotten the first time they played a game on the system. No worries, though. After a while, I'm sure your gaming instincts will start to get used to the hang of things and take over once again.
I really was unsure for a long time about the Wiimote, but after a while it grew on me. It's coming along nicely in games that use it a lot, like Metroid Prime 3. It's far from perfect in my opinion with many frusterating quirks that need improvement, but for the most part I am pleased with the Wiimote and how games have used it to enhance gameplay. Also in my opinion, it's only going to get better.
