Resident Evil 5 -- What do you know?

Does anyone know anything about this? I'm new to the board and couldn't find a discussion. I have heard some people say that RE:5 is coming to Wii next year, and that it will be much like the style of RE:4.Any more info? Resident Evil 5 -- What do you know?

If you really want RE5 I suggest you get a 360 or PS3. I suppose it's still possible for it to come to Wii(I really doubt it though).
Sadly, there has been no announcement for RE5 on Wii. However, Capcom has stated that they are looking into releasing more RE games on Wii if REUmbrellaChronicles sells well this Christmas.

haven't been announced to the wii. and i highly doubt the game will come out in 2008. do you know how many times RE4 got delayed? i don't know the exact numbers, but there were many delays. the only info on RE5 is that it takes place somewhere in africa, RE4's style, and with amazing graphics. basically, it's like RE4 pushing thesystem to the max like RE4 did to the GC.
It's only for the 360 and the PS3. I highly doubt they will port it over to the WII next year. I'm seeing it in 2009 or 2010. I'm really hoping umbrella chronicles sells well so Capcom could make a lot of RE games for the WII exclusively. (did i spell that right?)
RE5 on wii is as realistic as porting RE4 onto the N64. Different hardware, different game.
