True true...wii game boxes
Yeah, it kind of gets on my nerves too. I know Nintendo is trying to branch out to more people, but I think just having English in the manual is fine

Nobody forces you to read the other languages, and it's not taking away from the English part of it, and if you really can't stand it, then 'No los compres'.

They are region specific. Europe due to it's language laws has all the Euro main languages. NA you have French, Spanish, English. You do realize that Spanish is a language that is huge in the US right?
The problem is, the United States has no official language, so they can't really be obligated to publish it in one language

Mario Galaxy is a good example. And in quebec (canada) retailers cant sell a game if there's nothing french written on the box.

[/QUOTE] yes it does. its english. there may be prominent other languages, but thats not why they do it. they do it because they are too lazy to make seperated region specific versions from Mexico to US to Canada.
It would make no sense to spend more money on seperate boxes just to make it more friendly to the country. Its cheaper that way.
