Wii or PSP and Why ?

Dear Friends : I would like to get my son a Wii or a PSP for Christmas, he already has an XBox 360.What should I do ?Tks.Wii or PSP and Why ?
If you can find one i would say the wii. Its selling very well which means that more third party support is coming. Wii has a much different game library from the 360 so it will give you more variety from what you already have. Also PSP only has a few good games, and a couple of those are for a more mature audience(metal gear, GTA, ect). Hope i was helpful, but it will probably be a chore to find a wii this holiday season. Go to General Games Discussion Forum or System Wars (enter System Wars at your own risk).With my personal experience with handhelds, I'd go with the Wii, unless your son is really into handhelds, but then again, youd be better off asking this in another forum like GGD mentioned above.
I have both. I will be honest, I never use my PSP. As a gaming machine it's not worth your money. It has very few games, and they are pretty lame. The Wii, on the other hand, is awesome! I play it, my wife plays it, even my 58 year old mother likes Wii Sports. I have my friends' sons play the Wii, also. It is fun for everyone, especially if you have Wifi. I got the old PSP used for $140 when it was selling for $200 new, and it was still a ripoff. The internet on the PSP is slow, and the movies are more of a gimmick. The PSP as an MP3 players is too big. I recommend getting the Wii, you won't regret it.
Bring the family together and get a Wii. It simple to pick up, packed in with a game, and you can usually find some pretty good bundles. I would suggest looking HARD for the Wii console and the Wii play game and a Nyko Charge together in one box. My friend just got his in about a week online with all the above included. You are more than likely going to be pushed into buying a bundle if you looking for one soon.
for home consoles i would go with Wii or PS3 depending on what games you want and how important high definition is to you.  for handheld i would go with a DS.  everyone around campus has a DS rather than PSP so you can play with other people more easily.
i think you better ask on another forum, because if you ask on the wii forums, people are gonna say the wii. and when you ask on the psp forums, people are going to suggest the psp.
wii unless you want to play or your son to play old games already released on ps2 360 ps3 ,, which he has a 360 so he;ll get all the 3rd party stuff well the majority of it thats on psp , wii has all original games, plus you get a wii youll also have a gamecube as wii plays all gamecube games and did i mention download virtual console games, from nes snes n64 sega genesis turbo graphics 16 and neo geo your choice if you get a psp you only can play psp games,, unless you had a ps3 which you dont so

I would get a wii. A PSP is great, but it is not quite as good in my eyes as a great home console. If you are going to get a wii, get it now 'cause they sell like hotcakes made of gold.
Get the Wii. Also the DS is a much better handheld than the PSP.
I would highly recommend a ds lite because with the psp with its size and lack of games its not that great. If he doesnt travel as much give him a wii.
Wii would be better. The PSP is just an expensive frisbee...
How olds your son?
Wii definally PSP has practly no excusives PSP basicaly has only what is avliable on the ps2 with less stuff in it. .Wii has good excusives like Zelda MaroMetroid.Also wii has inovative controles which makes wii fun to play. The wii comes with a game. Wii has better sound because the wii remote has a speaker in it. Wii is better for when friends come to the house (just grab another controler and put a game in). PSp you and your friend need a PSP and the same game.
13 Million of us own a Wii. You can play with your family and friends. Diverse libary of games. Hundreds of your favorite old school games for DL. Packed in with Wii sports. The only system you can play Zelda,Mario and Metroid. Upcoming games Mario kart, Smash Bros Brawl..need I go on? Oh yeah my Wife,Parents,Sister,Friends,Grandparents...etc..etc...love the Wii. I am still blown away by how fun this system is. You won't regret this buy it now..if you can find it. Psp not worth it! Only a handful of good games. Buy a DS hundreds of games for you to choose from and well worth your hard earned cash. Good luck and Merry Christmas =D
i would say wii only because i enjoy it moe than my brothers psp. then again, i would go to the system wars forum to get a more varied opinion

i have both i play my wii a lot more than my psp my psp has gathered dust for the last year so get the wii but good luck because last week at my local best buy they sold out in less than i think 10 to 15 min so great luck and again get the wii fun for all.
