I know it cames with the Link Cross bow game, but who will actually use the Wii zapper for FPS?Whos going to get the Wii Zapper?
I don't think I would use it for any FPS, but then again, I haven't used the Zapper. I really want to try Link's Crossbow Training, so maybe I'll decide to fork over a few bucks to buy it. Ah, damn Nintendo. They know people will buy anything relating to Zelda.Whos going to get the Wii Zapper?
Yeah, Nintendo knew what they were doing here with bundling it with something Zelda related. I'm getting it for christmas, curious to see how it feels and works with proper first person shooters. On the subject of first person shooters, something that's been on my mind ever since the announcement of the Zapper was a Red Steel 2/follow up. Sadly it was a game that didn't totally live up to its hype, if they fix up their small mistakes and add the option of using the Zapper, I think that'd be something to look foward to.
Yea I might buy it...If I get the Wii by Christmas, maybe I'll get that. But I'd rather want a game than a controller for a game..
I am, I pre-ordered it today when I got my copy of SMG. I really want to play Link's Crossbow Training it looks fun.
With all the anti Zapper vibes coming from IGN, I don't think I'll be getting it.
I'll try the rail games sans attachments first. If I NEED to feel like I'm in an arcade, I'll probably track down that third party one that was posted a while back that actually LOOKS like a gun. I could kinda dig that one...
i know this is designed for these 'rail' shooters like RE5:UC and Links Crossbow training.but could this gun also be used as a Light Gun adapter for shooters like MP3?
I absolutely can't wait till the Wii Zapper comes out. I want to get it and Ghost Squad. I think it will be a blast!(No pun intended)
Depends how much it'll cost and if it gets any good scores, not really hyped for this but if it's good quality I might just get it.
I will be buying the Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training. It should be pretty fun to play ( I enjoyed Wii Play btw ) and I plan on getting Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles and Medal of Honor Heroes 2 so I will have more than one reason to try it.
I want to try MP3 with the zapper lol
Yep i will be getting it out of my own money though, should be great with the zelda crossbow training and scarface and redsteel.
im getting it and also ghost squad. i really want to throw down money and get RE but that's 50 more dollars there i don't have! :(
i may get it. its only twenty bucks and comes with a sorta-zelda game. it would be a very different story if it came without a game
I'm definitely going to snag it, and if I like the feel of it, I'll probably buy a good FPS to play with ...- Ken
IMO i think they should of just had the Crossbow game as part of Zelda:TP, and then just sell the zapper on its own. But this is mostly because i find the zapper to be useless. Oh well people will buy it no matter what, so i guess its just good business on Nintendo's part.
So much potential with this, I mean you could really make it work well with games like MOH. Id love to see a button and a scope that zooms in the screen when you push the button so you can shoot via the scope, as well as slapping the stick on the side for movement control could really be fun if they put enough thought into it.
I'm probably going to ask for it for Christmas, depending on how the reviews come out. It would be great paired with RE:UC.
With all the anti Zapper vibes coming from IGN, I don't think I'll be getting it.
A lot of their issue was with the trigger being ''squishy.'' I was able to fix this by using a spring from a click pen and cutting off a little more than a 1/4 and voila it works like a charm. If anyone else want to do this I can make pictures...
